The People & Culture (P&C) team at Quantium are all about building foundations to support our fast-growing international business.


We are recruiting for an HR Operations Advisor (P&C Operations Consultant title internally in our business).  This will be initially a 12mth contract, with further potential depending on business needs.


The role is varied and fast-paced with great exposure to be involved throughout the employee life-cycle. Extending from onboarding to offboarding, internal moves, raising contracts, system updates, payroll liaison and HR projects. Not just in India but in our offices globally!  


This is a great role for someone who loves HR operations and process, who has a strong HR skillset in providing sound HR policy advice to all employees, including with an international angle.

Key responsibilities:

Being a key member of the operations team and being involved on a day to day basis with:


  • Accountable for the overall delivery of Pre-hire services, background/reference checks, immigration relocations support, data management onboarding assistance.
  • Takes complete ownership to ensure smooth onboarding experience for all new hires in scope, including follow-up with the candidate/manager/recruitment to collect missing information
  • Maintain efficient service delivery by ensuring transactional requests and assigned inquiries are completed within SLA depending on priority and complexity
  • Responsible for managing Medical Insurance and Group Personal Accident insurance
  • Letters generation
  • Preparation of India monthly payroll inputs and payroll reports
  • Interface between organization and third-party vendors to provide monthly statutory reports
  • Coordinate with third party vendors like medical insurance, and ADP systems for timely onboarding and offboarding of employees
  • Leave Reconciliation
  • Responding to a high volume of on-line employee queries across a variety of topics.
  • Onboarding and offboarding activities for more than 200 people per year including contract generation, employee security checks, compliance training session coordination, system access, exit surveys, employee photos
  • Continuous focus on processes improvement and customer experience
  • Providing advice around policies and associated legislation changes across the different countries we operate in
  • Updating internal systems to ensure that data for payroll and reporting are accurate and up to date
  • Supporting on activities in relation to the graduate and intern intakes
  • Parental leave coordination
  • Production of regular and ad hoc reports
  • HR projects and other administrative support as required
  • Operate with Data privacy and security guidelines
  • Work health and safety coordination and initiatives globally
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines must be good




Skills, experience and education required

  • 1-3 years’ experience in HR Operations or HR Shared Services Operations
  • Tertiary qualified in a HR, Commerce or Business-related discipline
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software
  • Experience and sound understanding of Labour Law and Statutory requirements
  • Understanding and experience of HR operations including hiring, payroll and employee benefits
  • Experience in a similar role working in a fast-paced dynamic, high growth, or high change environment
  • Proven experience raising employment contract documentation and providing policy and entitlements advice, including with an international angle or for multiple entities
  • Prior experience with an online HR ticketing system
  • Experience operating successfully in an agile and often ambiguous environment
  • Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities to required deadlines
  • Sound analytical and reporting skills
  • Process improvement mindset
  • Comfortable dealing with highly confidential information
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Experience with ADP payroll system or similar
  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office skills – Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
  • Global HR exposure (desired)
  • Strong team player, willing to learn and share experience with other team members
